Five Decades is our name and our time horizon. Self-replicating construction can add a floor to a city in a quarter; it does not automatically pay for fifty years of upkeep. We began with that gap.
- 01
Fifty-year terms
Each fund runs for exactly fifty years. A new fund begins every decade. When the first closes and the sixth takes over, five remain in operation.
- 02
Obligations travel with assets
Every investment carries a named maintenance obligation throughout its term. At expiry it goes to a named successor; it cannot be abandoned.
- 03
Returns and losses have names
The ledger names who receives returns and who bears bad debt. Holders share non-revenue obligations pro rata.
- 04
No ultimate control
Public institutions retain ultimate control and the right to shut down city facilities. Our voting rights never exceed one third in any asset.
- 05
Neutrality
No single signatory bloc contributes more than 15% to any fund vintage.
